Atelier Merla
Atelier Merla is an architectural practice established by Francesco Merla, after his Bachelor's degree in Italy, in the Architecture School of Pescara (2005), an Architectural Master'degree in Collective Housing at ETSAM in Madrid (2009) and several professional experiences in Italy, Spain, Switzerland and France.
The Atelier's design approach is not focused on a predeterminated architectural language, but aims rather at a socially responsible project and a close connection with the context.
The design process is both pragmatic and poetic. It is characterized by an intense dialogue with the client and the users, as well as a collaborative attitude with the consultants and the contractors, to arrive at a solution which is architecturally, socially, ecologically, and economically coherent.
A strong network of partners and consultants allows us to respond to a wide range of projects, different for typology, size and location.
